These are the ingredients I keep right at my fingertips as I'm always reaching for them. Always keep your kitchen stocked with these if you're using mom's recipes!
Olive Oil
Onions
Garlic
Sea Salt (Try buying it in bulk)
Black Peppercorn (In a grinder)
Butter (Kept at room temperature - never refrigerated - in the Butter Bell, of course, which keeps it from getting melty in our warm climate)
Eggs (Preferably from your own chickens!)
Balsamic Vinegar
Flour (I always keep at least a whole wheat and white on hand - preferably stone ground!)
Whole Milk (Pretty tricky to find unpasteurized milk, but at least try to find non-homogenized milk, also known as "cream top milk")
